Financing/Funding for agribusiness is designed to support practical, application-oriented projects and schemes that would help farmers/producers enhance their productivity and output.
The financial support is focused to facilitate the development of modern and sustainable agriculture. Contribute in a direct and practical way towards the sustainable development of the local agricultural industry. Crop farming (vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants), the livestock rearing aims at strengthening farm bio-security, enhancing value, or mitigating the possible nuisance that livestock farms may cause to the environment.
The benefits of projects funded targeted individual farms to assist them in modernizing their farming equipment and facilities.
The Assessment Criteria set out for funding support whether there is a demonstrated need for the proposed project (e.g. for the sustainable development of the local agricultural industry and improvement of competitiveness of the industry)
Whether the project scope, objectives and long-term impacts are realistic and clearly expressed in concrete terms as appropriate in the application. Whether the project is innovative, new ideas and implementation methods suitable for the target beneficiaries, with successful experiences and good practices.
The feasibility of the proposed project must have the potential to become a project model, the design is comprehensive and supported by detailed implementation/business plans and methodology. Include, attainable target, track record in operating projects, professional knowledge, readiness to implement the project with a realistic timeline, project budget with the goals, project scope, and expected project outcomes.
The same project should not be funded through another fund. The commercial viability of new agricultural practices and commercial risk and elements may enter into a contractual funding agreement. The funding project would take into account the project’s benefit to the agricultural sector of the economy.
